Day 1 – Home
My blog, The Snail Trail, is so called because I really do ‘travel with my home on my back’! As many of you know my home is Brutus the Beast, my trusty little campervan, so my home goes with me as I travel around Australia.
Here’s a place I really enjoyed calling ‘home’ last Christmas – Stockton Lake, Western Australia.

I had the best of the camp sites when I was there and it was inviting – my neighbours invited themselves over every afternoon for happy hour drinks, so not only a great view but great company too.

I have camped at Stockton Lake a few times and believe it or not have also competed in Dryland Dog Sledding there. Love that spot.
